If you are in the market for a drill press and you don’t have tons of money to burn, the Gino Development TruePower Precision Mini Press is an excellent choice. Although it might not match up to some of the more feature-rich drill presses on this list, it is still a very capable machine overall. 

The Gino Development mini drill press comes with tight bearings that hold the machine securely without any rattling.

The unit has three speed settings for you to choose from. The speed settings include 0-5000 RPM, 0-6500 RPM, and 0-8500 RPM. The numbers mean that you can select from any speed within that range. Spare belts that would need to be replaced occasionally can be ordered online and it is a good idea to get some spares when you purchase this product. Overall, we love how portable and lightweight this fine piece of machinery is. For the size, it is surprising how much power this thing can pump out, which is just a testimony to the overall design. One thing that is worth mentioning, however, is that it is not the best drill for metalworks on this list by any means. We would recommend going with something a little more heavy-duty if you plan on working with metals of any kind.
